Strategic Plan
As MCD University of Divinity prepares to enter its second century of existence, it is faced with challenges and opportunities to shape a new identity within a very different religious and social climate to the one in which its founders fashioned the original Melbourne College of Divinity. Inspired and guided by their example, the ecumenical community which currently constitutes MCD University of Divinity has an opportunity to develop and diversify the Institution with the same vision, commitment and faith which the founders exemplified, while maintaining its position at the apex of theological and ministerial education on both national and international levels.
The Strategic Planning Committee monitors the issues relating to the future directions of MCD University of Divinity in a climate of significant change in the Higher Education sector. The Council initiated the MCD Summit 2015 in December 2008, at which all Council members, Heads of Colleges, and other senior members of the Institution were invited to discuss its future.
