Master of Theological Studies
The Master of Theological Studies offers the opportunity to theological graduates to deepen their learning and explore disciplines they had not included in their first theological degree. Candidates for Christian ministries can use the MTS to broaden and deepen their undergraduate studies, while options within the degree suit the formation requirements of some religious orders. The degree is flexible, and a wide range of units and disciplines is available. It can be taken part-time for a period of up to five years.
MTS students learn through the MCD University of Divinity’s Recognised Teaching Institutions (RTIs). Each RTI is committed to providing a supportive community of scholarship, teaching out of its own heritage with an ecumenical openness towards others. MTS students may take units at any RTI.
